Lauren combines a thorough knowledge of the classical technique of the upright bass with a clear and articulate language, making her a great pedagogue. Though always flexible to accommodate my needs and expectations, Lauren suggests what is best for me as a double bass player. I truly trust her to help me develop as an accomplished musician."

"I can't find words powerful enough to describe how wonderful Lauren is as a teacher. This young lady is highly educated and already IMHO a world class bassist. Her method is personalized for each student and in my experience the results of studying with her were immediate and profound! Amazing progress that I've never experienced with any other teacher."
John A., Sacremento
"I am a professional musician learning a new instrument from the beginning. She has been extremely patient with me and my frustrations. I absolutely endorse and recommend her as an instructor. In addition to her teaching skills, she is a world-class player, so I feel it is a privilege to be able to study with her!"
